Buccaneers Super Bowl Odds Improve in Big Way After Win vs. Jaguars

Few teams have been as hot as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of late. They've won four-straight games and now have a stranglehold on the NFC South heading into the final two weeks.

Not only are they near locks to win the division at this point, but oddsmakers are starting to take them seriously as a team that could win a game or two in the playoffs. For the first time this season, they've skyrocketed up the list of odds to win Super Bowl 58.

At FanDuel Sportsbook, the Buccaneers are set at +5500 to win the Super Bowl. When translated to implied probability, the Bucs have a 1.79% chance of winning it all. While that may not seem like a likely outcome, it's much improved from where they sat prior weeks. For example, just last week they were listed at +8000 to win the Super Bowl. Their win against the Jaguars have skyrocketed them up the list as the team became more and more likely to make the postseason.

Tampa Bay currently has the 12th best odds to win Super Bowl 58 with better odds than fellow NFC teams, the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks.

Their increase in odds is largely due to the fact they now have a great chance of winning the NFC South, meaning they'll host at least one playoff game.

At -550 odds, the Buccaneers have an 84.62% chance of winning the division. They would likely have to lose to both the Saints and the Panthers in the final two weeks for them to lose out on being crowned division champs.
