3. A trade for Derrick Henry

In order to turn things around, though, the Bucs should have at least made a buying move rather than doing nothing. One of the names linked to Tampa Bay in rumors over the past few weeks was Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry, who was also not moved, surprisingly.

The Bucs have been a horrendous rushing team this season and Rachaad White has functioned much better as a pass catcher than a runner. Tampa could have used a guy like Henry to pair with White, as the Titans running back is much more capable running between the tackles.

Tennessee also has rookie Tyjae Spears to take over for Henry when his contract is up after this season, which makes it even more curious that they didn't trade the former All Pro.

For the Bucs to believe they have a shot at winning the division, still, must mean they know something the fans don't. Because, on the surface, it looks like this is a team that will continue down the road of finishing somewhere around 8-9 on the year and barely missing the playoffs, while failing to get ahead by doing something at the trade deadline.
