It seems obvious, but we need to truly brace ourselves for how the 2023 version of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is going to be very different from what we've seen over the last few years. Personnel changes have seemingly lowered expectations around the league.

However, if Tampa Bay wants to prove them wrong, there are some people that will need to rise to the occasion

If not, then even more drastic shifts could be coming soon. In order to avoid the ultimate blowup, I put together a list of who is feeling the most heat to succeed this season.

Let's get into it.

Todd Bowles, Head Coach

There seems no better to place to start then with the Captain of the ship. Yes, pun definitely intended. Bowles was handpicked by the outgoing Bruce Arians to take over upon his departure.

Bowles had the final year of Tom Brady and a mostly intact roster from the Super Bowl winning side. However, things did not go smoothly. The constant lack of discipline from the Bucs reflected poorly on Bowles and his ability to get his guys in line.

Poor time management and play calling did the team no favors as well.

Adding to this was for a defensive minded coach, we watched the Bucs defense not come close to the heights they've reached in the past. There were moments of strong play, but in crucial times Tampa just could not make the play. Coach Bowles needs his players to buy-in this season or he could be out of a job.
