After over six months of waiting, Tampa Bay Buccaneers football is back in our lives.

The last time we saw the Bucs take the field it was in the NFC Divisional Round, a destination the team is looking to not only reach again but travel even further. So far that goal is looking pretty good, as Jason Licht spent the offseason bringing back key pieces like Baker Mayfield, Mike Evans, and Tristan Wirfs. Not only were they each given rich new deals, but they’re now locked in as part of Tampa Bay’s foundation for the next few years.

All of that offseason planning begins to come together tonight, as the Bucs are back in action for the first week of the preseason. The team is up in Cincinnati, and while we won’t see much from the starters it will be everyone’s first really good look at what populates the roster below the top-line stars.

It was those players who stepped up last year and helped power the Bucs to exceed expectations, and it’s why tonight’s game figures to be more exciting that it otherwise would be.

What channel is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on tonight? (August 10th)

Here’s everything you need to know to catch tonight’s game:

  • Date: Saturday, August 10th
  • Start Time: 7:00 pm ET
  • Location: Paycor Stadium | Cincinnati, OH
  • Local TV Channel: CW (WTTA-TV)
  • Announcers: Chris Myers, Rondé Barber, Dan Lucas
  • Radio: WXTB 97.9 FM
  • Live Stream: NFL+ | Fubo

This will be the only game of the preseason that won’t be broadcast on WFLA-TV, as the CW will be where Bucs fans need to look in order to watch the opener. It’s also the furtherst the team will have to travel, as the other two games on Tampa Bay’s schedule will be in Florida — a road game in Jacksonville and a home game against the Dolphins.

Baker Mayfield and the starters aren’t expected to play much at all this preseason, but that’s by design. The Bucs benefited greatly from rookie and undrafted talent last season, which is something the team is going to be testing out over the rest of the month.
