How to watch Buccaneers vs. Falcons TNF with and without Amazon Prime
By Josh Hill
The last time the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were in Atlanta, they needed a last second stand to hold off what would have been a loss that derailed their season.
Instead of falling into a trap we'd seen them trip into before, the Bucs escaped with a win and ended up using it as part of the momentum that would carry them to the NFC Divisional Round a handful of weeks later. It was a valiant victory, one that Tampa Bay is hoping to run back in primetime on Thursday night.
The Bucs are in Atlanta for their first divisional matchup of the season, on that doesn't have as much on the line as last year's meeting but is still critical. We're less than a week removed from Tampa Bay thumping the Eagles and seemingly getting things back on track, but the Bucs are entering an absolute gauntlet of games in the coming weeks.
After the Falcons, Tampa Bay goes on the road to New Orleans before coming back to Raymond James Stadium for a Monday Night Football showdown with the Baltimore Ravens. The first step was getting a win over Philly, which came a little too easily, but following it up with a solid showing against Atlanta will go a long way in telling us who this team really is.
From the looks of it so far, the Bucs are a potential Super Bowl contender that needs to battle through being banged up. Tampa Bay will be without five key players on Thursday night, with Antoine Winfield Jr., Calijah Kancey, and Luke Goedeke all missing a third consecutive game as a trio.
That doesn't make Tampa Bay's life any easier, but it hardly means they should be counted out.
