While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars are preparing for Saturday's game, fans looking to attend also have a scouting report to go over.
Bring sunscreen and leave the rain ponchos at home, because the weather forecast for Saturday's preseason game is the first bit of good news we're all hoping to get this weekend. The Bucs are in Jacksonville looking to follow up a solid start to the preseason with another win, and will have absolutely perfect summer conditions to try and do that.
Usually, this time of year, we're good for a lightning delay or two, with Florida weather rarely deciding to cooperate with football that needs to be played. There are also thankfully aren't any hurricanes in the equation, as Ernesto is the only active storm and he's way out at sea to the northeast of Duval.
It seems any delays due to weather will probably be saved for next week -- and hopefully avoided altogether -- as it's going to be a hot and dry game on Saturday.
Weather forecast for Buccaneers vs. Jaguars is absolutely ideal for fans
It will be hot in the hours leading up to kickoff, but temperatures are expected to cool off and drop into the mid-80s by game time. The real feel temp is supposed to flirt with crossing over 100 degrees during the day, with almost no chance for rain in the forecast to dampen things or create more humidity.
Things won't be too sticky at the game, although the humidity is expected to go up to around 71 percent by the time the game is over. The good news is it should be dry and sunny for the first half of action, so we probably won't have to deal with any lightning delays until next week's game back in Tampa.
