2. Kansas City Chiefs

As it stands, the Kansas City Chiefs only have about $3 million in cap space, per Over the Cap. However, for those clamoring about the lack of cap space, let me remind you that teams continue to prove that the cap is malleable. Take the New Orleans Saints, for example. They simply keep pushing money down the road with restructure after restructure.

If the Chiefs wanted to sign Evans, they would have found a way. It's just a matter of how creative Brett Veach wanted to be in getting a deal done.

Of course, there are a lot of moving parts in Kansas City. Sure, they won a Super Bowl. But, they've got some big offseason priorities like Chris Jones and L'Jarius Sneed. It seems like those two are priorities, right now, with Sneed getting the tag and an extension being worked on for Jones.

Still, if the Chiefs wanted to sign Evans, they'd have found a way to do it.

And, Kansas City just won a Super Bowl off the hands of Mecole Hardman and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Give Patrick Mahomes an upgrade like Evans and watch what happens.

You better believe the Chiefs were players for Evans.
