Cam Jordan has hilariously strange explanation for why the Saints can't win

Um... ya think?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans are no strangers to watching Cameron Jordan wreak havoc for the New Orleans Saints. After all, Jordan has been with the Saints his entire career, which dates back to 2011 when he was a first-round pick by New Orleans.

Jordan joined the Saints in a time when they were the best team in the division more often than not but he hasn't been that lucky in recent years. The Bucs took over the crown for the best in the NFC South in recent years, stringing together three straight division titles and winning a Super Bowl three years ago.

The Saints haven't been comically bad during that time, doing just enough to get their fans' hopes up before it all comes crashing down. This is, of course, amusing to Bucs fans who grew tired of seeing the Saints near the top of the NFC for many years.

Jordan is clearly frustrated with his team's lack of success in recent years and gave a pretty bizarre answer as to what's been ailing the Saints.

"Whatever we've been doing has not been enough, so we have to be able to do more. If you're not willing to embrace that, beat it."

Cameron Jordan lays down the law for rival Saints in 2024

Jordan isn't used to the Saints being irrelevant in the NFC South but that's what they've become since Drew Brees rode off into the retirement sunset following a defeat to the Bucs in the playoffs in the 2020 season. Since that time, the Saints haven't been a laughing stock by any means but they haven't been world beaters either.

FanDuel has given the Saints the third-best odds (or second-worst depending on how you look at it) to win the NFC South in 2024. The Falcons are the betting favorite with the Bucs a distant second. It's better for the Bucs if the Saints continue to do whatever they've been doing and not to embrace what Jordan is talking about because the division is going to be tougher this season with the moves Atlanta made during the offseason.

From an outsider's perspective, the Saints should have torn it all down and rebuilt after Sean Payton stepped away but they opted to sign Derek Carr to a ridiculous deal to try and stay relevant.

Fortunately for Bucs fans, that move hasn't paid off and this year should be a battle between the Bucs and the Falcons for the NFC South crown.
