Well... At least Bucky scored!

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers jumped out to a 24-0 lead over the Philadelphia Eagles before the Eagles started to slowly crawl their way back in it. Leading by 10 points about midway through the third quarter, Buccaneers rookie running back Bucky Irving looked to have scored the first NFL touchdown of his career.

Unfortunately, he was ruled down and the Bucs then had to try to get into the end zone again. They went right back to Irving for attempt number two and this time, he got into the end zone and added six points to the Bucs' scoreboard.

Yay, a touchdown for the young Buc! That's what Bucs fans were thinking when the team went up 30-14 with 6:49 left to play. Leading by 16, the Bucs went for the extra point to make it a 17-point game and well... That's when Bucky's touchdown became old news pretty fast.

Chase McLaughlin's extra point attempt was blocked and Kelee Ringo of the Eagles picked the ball up and ran it back the other way for two points. This meant that while the Bucs scored six points off the Bucky Irving touchdown, the Eagles then added two more due to the blocked extra point attempt.

Eagles ruined Bucky Irving's moment by blocking extra point

Despite the two-point play for the Eagles, it was still an awesome moment to see Irving find the end zone for the first time in his young career. The Bucs spent a fourth-round pick on Irving and prior to this game against the Eagles, he had rushed for 154 yards and hauled in 28 receiving yards.

The hope is that Irving can become a huge piece of this Bucs offense and that this will be the first of many touchdowns. Let's also hope that there won't be anymore blocked field goals that are taken back the other way. We don't need anymore of those.
