Things could not have gone better for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night. A year after getting blown out of the Wild Card round, thus having their future thrust into uncertainty, the Bucs returned the favor to a different NFC East team.

Dallas got their comeuppance in a blowout loss to the Packers, while the Bucs laid a brutal beat down on the Philadelphia Eagles that has essentially put the team in the same exact place Tampa Bay was a year ago. The loss polished off an epic collapse by Philly, one that saw them lose six of their last seven games to finish the season.

Tampa Bay is riding high, as the win has propelled a team that most experts thought wouldn't win more than three games this year to the Divisional Round. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves, but if the Bucs team that showed up against the Eagles shows up against the Lions, there's a legitimate chance Tampa Bay reaches the NFC Championship Game.

On the flip side, the Eagles now have major questions to answer about what the team will look like next season. Jason Kelce retired after the game -- the second future Hall of Famer the Bucs retired this decade -- and rumors are swirling about Nick Sirianni's job security.

Sirianni might not escape this disaster with his job, and one psychotic Eagles fan let him know that before he left Raymond James Stadium on Monday night.

Bucs security chases down Eagles fan who threw popcorn at Nick Sirianni

The Bucs not only ended the Eagles season but brought out the worst in their fans. As Nick Sirianni waled to the tunnel a following the loss, one fan dumped his popcorn bucket onto the coach and was promptly chased down by security.

Kudos to that security guard who instantly stepped in to make sure the fan was chased down by other members of the security staff. There's nothing wrong with being upset your team laid a dud -- Bucs fans have been subjected to that more than a few times this season -- but it's a total clown move to resort to tossing items at a coach.

Throwing popcorn at players and coaches seems to be a Philly tradition. Someone dumped a bucket of popcorn on Russell Westbrook during the NBA Playoffs a few years ago and now this guy decided to do the same thing to Sirianni.

Doing this solves absolutely nothing and is a tremendous waste of precious popcorn. Bucs security was all over this guy and there's a decent chance he pays the price for his little stunt back in Philly.
