The Tampa Bay Buccaneers under Jason Licht have been one of the best drafting teams in the NFL on the final day of the NFL Draft. That's a trend the team is hoping will continue, especially after the draft class that has already been put together.

Licht cooked up some gems over the first two days of the draft, adding Graham Barton out of Duke to anchor the offensive line in the first round and a trio of premier players on Day 2. Alabama pass rusher Chris Braswell was the first pick of the day on Friday for Tampa Bay, while Washington wide receiver Jalen McMillan was the last.

In between the Bucs took Georgia safety Tykee Smith to further fortify that room.

While the first few picks are always the flashiest, the deeper look usually reveals that teams that can find any hits in the later rounds are usually the most successful. It may be a large gamble, but history tells us that the Bucs are more than okay and happy to take those chances.

Buccaneers Day 3 picks: When does Tampa Bay pick next?

Assuming there aren't any changes, and that can be a big assumption with Licht wheeling and dealing, here is where the Bucs are currently slated to make picks during the final day of the draft.

125

Bucky Irving, RB/Oregon

6

220

Elijah Klein, OG/UTEP

7

246

Devin Culp, TE/Washington

It's only three picks, but Jason Licht has cooked in years past on the third day of the draft. There are still plenty of top prospects still on the board, and that fourth round pick Tampa Bay has could end up being huge for them.

After plenty of high value picks on Day 2, the Bucs were always going to come into this day with a few less selections than usual, but who can really be upset about that?

No one will ever miss a fifth-rounder, even if Licht has the talent to find a contributor there. The additional picks on Day 2 will simply go further.

However, if you are one of the fans that likes seeing selections on this day and are lamenting Tampa's mere three, you don't have to let go of your hope just yet. There are still plenty of opportunities for one of the most exciting front offices in football to wheel and deal.
