The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won their Wild Card match-up and will advance to the NFC Divisional Round. Their opponent is the Detroit Lions, who won the NFC North for the first time in three decades. A lot of casual NFL fans will be rooting for the Lions but the Bucs are no stranger to playing the villain.

As of this writing, FanDuel has the Bucs as 6-point underdogs in the Motor City but they were underdogs against the Eagles and we saw how that went. Hopefully, the Bucs have another upset in them.

These two teams met earlier in the season and the Lions whooped the Bucs in Tampa to the tune of a 20-6 final. The Bucs looked outmatched in this one but the good news for them heading into this game is that there's no pressure on Tampa. They're not expected to win and can use that underdog angle as motivation.

Buccaneers vs. Lions divisional round announcers

With such a huge game on tap this weekend, who will be on the call for this showdown between the Bucs and the Lions? Well, with the game airing on NBC on Sunday afternoon, the Bucs will have the Sunday Night Football crew in the booth for their game. Mike Tirico will be doing play-by-play, Cris Collinsworth will be providing color commentary, and Melissa Stark is going to be the sideline reporter.

Whoever wins this game could end up hosting the NFC Championship Game if the 49ers lose to the Packers on Saturday. If the 49ers win that game, whoever wins this game will be heading to San Francisco with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.
