With their second-round pick, the Bucs go with the best available talent while on the clock. And, although Tampa Bay has been fairly productive in terms of sacking the quarterback, they could use one more top-end pass rusher, which is exactly why they select Ohio State edge rusher Jack Sawyer.

At 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds, Sawyer looks the part of your typical pass rusher. He is a crafty, smart player, too. Sawyer has excelled when it comes to rerouting offensive tackles to where he wants them to go rather than where they're designed to go with their blocks. Sawyer does this with both his pure, functional strength as well as his high-level hand technique.

He's able to blow up run plays this way on the regular. But, again, he's a pass rusher by nature. His first step is quick and will overwhelm opposing tackles more often than not.

Sawyer is also versatile enough that he can be lined up as more of an outside linebacker at times, giving the Bucs some flexibility with certain packages. Pairing Sawyer with guys like Shaq Barrett, Calijah Kancey and Yaya Diaby should give the Bucs some versatility and, hopefully, ferocity up front going forward.
