If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to rebound from a brutal loss last week to the Denver Broncos, they're going to have to do it short-handed. With the Philadelphia Eagles coming to town, the Bucs are down a handful of key players, and not all of them are injury related

Antoine Winfield Jr. Calijah Kancey, and Luke Goedeke are the Big 3 who remain out, having not played either since Week 1 or at all. Kancey has yet to make his season debut; both Winfield and Goedeke played in the opener but haven't seen action since.

One name that was on the injury report the last two weeks but will be active is Vita Vea. He sprained his MCL in the Week 2 win over the Lions, but wasn't able to go last week against the Broncos. He's been limited, however his absence was felt in the worst way as the Broncos offense cooked Tampa Bay's defense all afternoon last Sunday.

With Vea back, the hope is that the same won't happen with a potentially potent Eagles offense.

Perhaps the most surprising name on the inactive list is punter Jake Camarda.

He's not hurt; rather, he's being benched after a poor start to the season that started all the way back in the preseason. There was some thought that the Bucs might carry an extra punter on the roster due to how badly the usually reliable Camarda struggled, and the elevation of Trenton Gill this week has pushed to the bench.

It's unclear how long he'll remain there, but it's a concerning situation to monitor moving forward.

Tampa Bay has bigger fish to fry than a struggling punter, though. Jalen McMillan was a late addition to the injury report after getting banged up in practice on Friday, and he'll miss the first game of his career on Sunday. That will put some pressure on Trey Palmer to step up, as well as Sterling Shepard who was activated to help give the Bucs some depth at receiver.
