Week 4 was a great one overall for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bringing home a win while seeing the other three division rivals lose is about as positive as it can get.

The season, as a whole, continues to be a success for quarterback Baker Mayfield, who has thrown for 882 yards, seven touchdowns and just two picks.

If you would have been told the Bucs were going to be 3-1 after four games, I don't think you'd care how it happened. And that's where we're at. But, where do they stand in respect to the rest of the NFC South? It's time for our power rankings, so let's get into it.

4. Carolina Panthers (0-4)

Well, I would say that the consolation prize for the Panthers, at 0-4, is the fact that they would own the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft at this point. But, that pick actually belongs to the Chicago Bears due to the trade that brought Bryce Young to Carolina.

The Panthers are going to be in a stage of rebuilding for a little while, especially as they see Young take steps and develop into the guy they're hoping he can for the future. This year is going to be tough. They likely aren't going to compete for the division crown, as some might have thought they could do before the season began.

It appears that Young is going to need some time, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. He is going to get time, and the Panthers will more than likely have enough to work with in the offseason next year to bring additional talent to the offense for their quarterback.
