2. Atlanta Falcons (2-1)

Week 3 saw the Atlanta Falcons drop a tough one to the Detroit Lions. They were completely outclassed, losing 20-6. The Lions held the Falcons' rushing attack to just 44 yards on the day, and when you put the game on the shoulders of Desmond Ridder, you're in trouble. That isn't as much of a knock on Ridder as it is stating the obvious, that he's not fully ready or developed as a starting quarterback yet.

The Falcons may have been beaten in dominating fashion, but fortunate for them, every team in the division lost.

Believe it or not, the Falcons have the top-ranked defense in the NFC South. As a matter of fact, Atlanta's defense is the no. 8 overall defense in football through three weeks, giving up an average of 287.7 yards per game.

That unit has been better than expected and, if Atlanta can find a way to get the ball rolling in their run game again, they should have a shot at staying close to the top of this division.
