Going into Week 5, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 3-1 and sit atop the division heading into an early bye week.

The Bucs have started fast, and fans don't have a lot to complain about thus far. Three wins out of four games and strong play from Baker Mayfield? I'll take that any day.

The bye comes at a good time for Mike Evans, who is healing up from a recent injury and allows the offense to potentially come back with their top target healthy following the bye.

But, back to Mayfield for the sake of this topic. Where does he stand among his divisional peers? Is any other quarterback close to him this season? Let's dive in.

4. Bryce Young, Panthers

Rookie Bryce Young has played three games through four weeks, sitting one out due to injury and watching Andy Dalton come in and light it up with 361 yards and a pair of touchdowns against Seattle.

Young, meanwhile, has thrown for 503 yards, two touchdowns and two picks in his three starts this year. Clearly, Dalton is better for this offense right now, but the Panthers are going to continue rolling with the rookie, going with a trial by fire approach.

There have certainly been a few throws, here and there, where we've seen Young's potential shine through. He has given us some "wow" moments, but at the same time, his rookie struggles have also surfaced, and that's to be expected. This weekend, Young and the Panthers have a tough test going up against the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions.
