1. Baker Mayfield, Bucs

It is going to take quite a while for any other NFC South quarterback to overtake Baker Mayfield atop the list of these power rankings. Clearly, the rest of the division struggles at the position. Mayfield is the only quarterback who is playing "good" football this season. He is also the only quarterback in the division whose team is playing winning football.

One of the most impressive parts of Mayfield's season has been his ability to escape pressure. He has been sacked just four times in four games while seeing a healthy amount of pressure in his face. If you go back and watch the game against Chicago, that was the perfect example of how slippery Mayfield has been this season. He has been absolutely fantastic in this area, and it's one of the biggest reasons Tampa Bay is winning games.

On the season, Mayfield has gone 87-of-125 for 882 yards, seven passing touchdowns and two interceptions. Mayfield is completing 69.6 percent of his passes and has earned a quarterback rating of 101.5.

This week, the Bucs have a bye week before going into a big Week 6 matchup with the Detroit Lions. That is going to be a measuring stick for where the Bucs could be headed this season, as the Lions look like one of the best in the NFC.
