2. Desmond Ridder, Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons may be 2-0, but most of their success has come because of their one strong constant on offense, and it's not Desmond Ridder. The Falcons continue to run the ball as good as anybody in this league.

Against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, the Falcons posted 211 yards on the ground, led by rookie running back Bijan Robinson who carried it 19 times for 124 yards. Tyler Allgeier, meanwhile, came back down to earth a bit and ran it 16 times for 48 yards.

Ridder did have a nice game, overall, though as he finished 19-for-32 for 237 yards, one touchdown and one interception. It wasn't anything spectacular, but there were moments late in the game where you saw the competitive, winning nature we saw from Ridder in college. That, above anything else in this game, stood out from the second-year quarterback.

Next week, Ridder will have an opportunity to prove his worth against a Lions team coming off a close loss to Seattle.
