Baker Mayfield, QB

Speaking of Baker Mayfield, he was of course another standout on Friday. He got the start, and did everything he was supposed to do if he wanted to solidify the starting job. It was only fitting that Mayfield's last pass of the game was his touchdown to Palmer, and boy was it a pretty throw.

Full disclosure, on the following drive, Mayfield did connect with Palmer down field for a 19-yard gain, but it was brought back because of a penalty, and he did not make another throw after that play.

Mayfield finished the game going 8-for-9 for 63 yards and that touchdown, earning a rating of 132.9. Meanwhile, Kyle Trask came in and threw an interception on his first drive of the game. Trask finished 6-of-10 for 99 yards, no touchdowns, one interception and a rating of 53.7.

In the Bucs' second preseason game, Trask has already been named the starter so that each of the quarterbacks could get an opportunity with the ones. However, Mayfield looks like he has the job on lock, despite what some fans might think.
