2. Devin White, LB

This offseason, the Panthers have inside linebacker Frankie Luvu set to enter free agency. On a defense that was highly overlooked and underrated this past season, Canales could opt to try and bring in Devin White, who is also set to be a free agent.

Last offseason, White requested a trade out of Tampa. Of course, the trade never happened, and White went on to post a career-low in total tackles (83) and solo tackles (49). However, he did intercept a career-high two passes along with defending six passes (also a career best).

The one-time Pro Bowler back in 2021 will certainly be looking for a new team this offseason. It seems the relationship between White and Tampa Bay has long been severed, so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities to see him link up with Canales in Carolina.

Believe it or not, the Panthers ended the year as the no. 4 overall defense in terms of yards per game, along with boasting the NFL's third-best passing defense. White is definitely much better in coverage than against the run, and he'd fit well.
