Derek Carr, Saints

New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr threw for 305 yards in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans, to go along with a touchdown and an interception. It was a hard-fought game by Carr and the Saints, who didn't score their lone touchdown until the second half when Carr hit wide receiver Rashid Shaheed in the back of the end zone.

In their Monday Night Football showdown with the Panthers, Carr will be looking to do more of the same, except hopefully win a bit more comfortably if he can help it. As we've already talked about, the Falcons ran it down the Panthers' throats in Week 1, so Carolina didn't get much of a test through the air. Not to mention, Desmond Ridder isn't exactly one who will light it up in the passing game.

The Panthers will be without cornerback Jaycee Horn in this one, and they could be without him much longer even. Last year, Carolina landed in the bottom third of the league in passing defense, and if the Saints choose to let it rip on Monday night, Carr could be in for a big game.

Prediction for Carr: 29-for-41 passing, 320 yards, two touchdowns and one interception

For added context, the Saints will run in a couple of scores as well, ending the night with over 30 points on the board.
