3 quarterbacks Bucs should target (and 2 they shouldn't) in 2024

Target No. 2: Jayden Daniels, LSU, 2024 NFL Draft
I am calling this right here, right now, in December and before much of the draft hype starts getting real. Jayden Daniels is going to be the most polarizing first-round prospect of his class next year. He is going to be the guy whom experts, teams and general managers are widely split on going into the NFL.
But, his upside is far too tantalizing to pass up. If he is available when the Bucs are on the clock (hopefully in the latter half of the first round), then they need to pull the trigger. Daniels is simply one of the most electrifying players in college football. And, it's hard to argue against putting all your chips in on him when you look at the numbers.
Daniels played in the toughest conference in college football, the SEC. he went up against the best defenses in the nation and was able to throw for 3,812 yards, 40 touchdowns and four interceptions. He added a ridiculous 1,134 yards on the ground with 10 touchdowns. It is just too difficult to argue against taking a guy like this in the first round.
This might sound ludicrous and as if I'm completely out of my mind, but I wouldn't be surprised if Daniels ended up having a better pro career than Caleb Williams or Drake Maye. The NFL is evolving, and Daniels is set up perfectly to have a lengthy and entertaining career.
