1. Derek Carr, Saints
Looking around the division, it is difficult not to put Derek Carr number one. Carr is currently the Raiders' all-time leading passer, has thrown for over 4,000 yards in four different seasons and comes to New Orleans as, hopefully, their answer at the position.
Since Drew Brees, the Saints have not been able to have a consistent answer under center. Whether it's been Jameis Winston, Andy Dalton or anyone else that's had to step in and start over the last few years, New Orleans still hasn't come up with a concrete starter who can help lead this offense.
Some Saints fans would have liked to see the team move up and find a franchise quarterback in the draft, but bringing in Derek Carr was not a bad option. The Saints might be the most well-rounded team that's ready to win, right now, in the entire division. Carr is a plug-and-play starting quarterback that could step in and throw for another 4,000 yards in his first year wiht the Saints.
There's no arguing that Carr is the best quarterback in the division, for now. But, we'll see where the rest stack up by season's end.
