2. Tampa Bay has a pair of Pro Bowl weapons for a quarterback that likes to sling it

In Cleveland, Mayfield had guys like Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry; two excellent options in the passing game. However, we've already established the fact that the Browns didn't know how to properly use those weapons or get them open.

Heck, it took how many years for David Njoku to be integrated into the offense? If you just take, say, the 2020 season for example, the Browns finished 7th to last in passing offense and that team had plenty to work with. Of course, Beckham's season was shortened due to injury. But, look at the seven games he appeared in, and Beckham only finished with a little over 300 receiving yards.

Cleveland. Didn't. Use. Their. Weapons. Period.

Now, Mayfield has two more savvy, experienced and Pro Bowl type talents at receiver. One of the biggest differences is, Mike Evans is the perfect type of wideout for Mayfield. The 28-year-old quarterback has always loved to let it fly, and Evans is just the right type of target for him to do so with.

Then, there's Chris Godwin, who is still one of the best and more underrated possession receivers in the league today. In terms of route running and getting open, Godwin is still as good as it gets. We're going to get to see Mayfield allowed to throw the ball now, unlike when he was in Cleveland, as well as throwing to some fantastic weapons, unlike his brief time in Carolina and Los Angeles.

Tampa might be the perfect spot for Mayfield, now, to turn his career around. He's in a passing offense with great weapons. What more could he ask for?
