Finally, we go to the defensive side of the ball and, specifically, at linebacker. The Bucs' linebacker core features Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, Devin White, Lavonte David and Shaquill Barrett as the four starters. Those four obviously have nothing to worry about in terms of securing a roster spot.

Behind them, though, things can maybe get a little muddy. Tampa Bay has a trio of rookies in third-round pick Yaya Diaby, fifth-round pick SirVocea Dennis and sixth-round pick Jose Ramirez to sort through. Veteran Anthony Nelson should also have no problem making the roster.

Assuming the Bucs keep those eight linebackers, if not even seven, that leaves several others out of the picture. That would mean guys like K.J. Britt, Cam Gill, J.J. Russell, Ulysees Gilbert, Charles Snowden, among others, are in danger.

Snowden entered the league as an undrafted free agent back in 2021 and has never been more than just a practice squad player or training camp body. He's been far too buried on the depth chart to stand a chance of making the final roster, and will soon find his name cut by the Bucs.
