4. Ejiro Evero, Defensive Coordinator, Carolina Panthers

Back to the defensive side of the ball, where the Bucs have actually been better than some might think. It's been a "bend but don't break" type of year for Tampa Bay's defense, which is good for the seventh-best scoring defense in the league while being in the bottom third in terms of yards allowed.

One of the best coaching candidates out there for next year is Carolin Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero. This could be a bit misleading for those who haven't done much research on Evero's reputation around the league, because the Panthers are the worst team in football this season. It would seem somewhat confusing to hire a coordinator, from the league's worst team, as your next head coach.

But, Evero is a bright defensive mind and has long been awaiting this opportunity. He's had a hand in the Los Angeles Rams' great defense that won a Super Bowl, as well as working beneath Vic Fangio last year in Denver. His experience and knowledge acquired over the years from some excellent head coaches has made him one of the best candidates to be hired next offseason.
