It was a new week, yet the same, familiar story. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost their fourth game in a row and dropped to 3-5 on the season.

Head coach Todd Bowles filled his postgame presser with mostly coach speak, which is something fans are growing tired of at this point. They want change.

That change should come in the form of Tampa Bay firing Bowles and looking ahead at how they'll fill his shoes.

If and when Bowles is fired, these are a few new candidates the Bucs should start thinking about.

1. Jim Schwartz, Defensive Coordinator, Cleveland Browns

This isn't a sexy option by any means, but Jim Schwartz has head coaching experience and has the 2023 Cleveland Browns defense playing on a whole different level. Cleveland is the best defense in the NFL in terms of yards allowed and ranks third in scoring.

Schwartz's ability to finally take this unit over the top is a breath of fresh air to Browns fans. For years, this unit has had a lot of talent that was supposed to equal a strong defense, but they haven't quite been able to put it all together. Schwartz, in his first year, has done a masterful job.

Not to mention, everywhere he's been over the last few years, Schwartz's defenses have typically been a top unit in the league. For a Bucs team that has also been used to a similar story, Schwartz isn't a bad option at all. He might not be the top option, nor a fan favorite, but he should definitley get a look after how good he's been stopping today's NFL offenses.
