3. San Francisco 49ers
As one of the premier teams in the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers are depending on second-year quarterback Brock Purdy to lead the troops this year. Purdy, a seventh rounder last year, now has the starting job and the faith of the organization behind him.
His weapons are already pretty stout, including maybe the best all-around running back in the game in Christian McCaffrey. The 49ers have not been shy about making moves, as evidenced by that McCaffrey trade.
Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle are the team's top three weapons in the passing game. But, adding Evans to the outside would give them a lethal arsenal to work with. Samuel could continue being a multi-faceted weapon, while Aiyuk and Evans were full-time receivers.
Purdy would have absolutely everything he needed to take a big jump from his rookie campaign and, hopefully for their sake, lead the 49ers to a Super Bowl.
