The Tampa Bay Buccaneers secured the NFC South title with a 9-0 win against the Carolina Panthers, setting up a home playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Despite losing five of six to close the regular season after starting the campaign 10-1, the Eagles are a road favorite against the Buccaneers on Monday night to cap off Wild Card Weekend. Philadelphia is littered with injuries to key players, but Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield has a nagging rib injury and an apparent ankle injury that had him hobbling around the team's win last weekend.
The Eagles downfall has been one of the most notable storylines of the season as the defense has fallen off a cliff, 29th in EPA/Play since Week 12, and now the offense is dealing with a host of injuries.
A.J. Brown left the team's Week 18 loss to the Giants with a knee injury, and Jalen Hurts suffered a finger injury during the loss. It's unclear if Brown will be able to play, but Philadelphia media has been optimistic in the fallout of the injury, while Hurts is expected to be a full-go come Monday.
Meanwhile, while Mayfield is dealing with some injuries, the starting quarterback isn't expected to be in danger of missing the game.
This is a rematch of a Week 3 showdown between the two in Tampa Bay, which the Eagles won 25-11. However, a lot has changed since then. Here are the early odds for this primetime matchup. For all Wild Card Weekend odds, make sure to check it out here!
