When the NFL schedule was released back in May, this Sunday’s game seemed like nothing more than a run-of-the-mill game.

Since then, both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions have ascended to such great heights that the game has been flexed into the FOX Game of the Week slot and is one of the most anticipated matchups of the week.

At one point the most exciting thing about this game was the return of the creamsicle uniforms, which the Bucs are wearing for the first time since 2012. Now the game is a showdown between a pair of first place teams and serves as a potential playoff preview.

With the game turning into a marquee matchup, here are all of the changes that were made and how you can catch the game today.

What time do the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play today?

The biggest change is when the game is being played. Originally this was a 1pm ET game, but a few weeks ago FOX announced that it was being flexed into its Game of the Week slot.

Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olson aren’t going to be on the call, as they were in Cleveland for the 49ers-Browns game. Instead, Adam Amin and Daryl Johnston will be in the booth and FOX will be rolling out its ‘Game of the Week’ graphics package for the showdown.

As if the creamsicle game couldn’t get any cooler.

Here’s everything you need to know to catch today’s game. Be mindful of the new start time, as the Bucs-Lions game is going to be the last of the late-window games to kickoff.
