Injuries have been a major storyline for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers so far this season. While they're still 3-1 on the year and looking like the best team in the NFC South by a wide margin, the more injuries that pile up, the more uneasy the fanbase will start to feel.

Another key injury that could rock the team this weekend is one to Bucky Irving, who is dealing with an ankle injury ahead of the Bucs' game against the Seahawks. If Irving can't go, it'll be Rachaad White taking over those carries. Bucs fans will love what White had to say when asked about the possibility of him filling in for Irving.

"I feel like I'm always ready," White said, which will have Bucs fans fired up and ready to go, especially considering they already know what White is capable of doing on the field. Two years ago, in just his second year in the league, White just missed out on rushing for 1,000 yards, going for 990 instead and finding the end zone six times that year.

Bucs fans will want to run through a wall after hearing Rachaad White's latest comments

If White is indeed "always ready" to step in, then hopefully the Bucs run game won't miss a beat while Irving is out. White has rushed for 108 yards and one touchdown through the first month of the season and fans have seen what he can do when in action.

Last year saw the former third-rounder rush for 613 yards and three scores in a shared backfield with Irving. He'll have to carry more of the load now but fortunately, it sounds like he's up to the task. The Bucs will need him to step up if they want to continue their winning ways, even without Irving.

With all of the injuries the Bucs have dealt with this early in the season, their depth has saved them so far and White could be another example of that. Let's hope he brings his A-game and can fill in admirably until Irving is healthy enough to come back.
