Ryan Fitzpatrick has stepped up his attacks on Tom Brady on social media
Are you ready for possibly the biggest waste of time you'll have all day?
We officially have Bucs QB Beef. And when I say that, what I really mean is that one former Bucs QB is trying to get another former Bucs QB's attention on the internet. Truthfully, it's not really a beef as much as it's just weirdo behavior. But you can tell that one side definitely wants it to be beef.

In case you don't remember the other 10,000 examples of this, Ryan Fitzpatrick doesn't much care for Tom Brady. It goes back to one of the three times in 14 attempts that Fitzpatrick beat Brady, after which Fitzpatrick got stiffed a handshake. It is an impressive feat in Grudge Holding and not a whole lot else. But now that Fitzpatrick is an *edgy* TV analyst who wears loud clothing and Isn't Afraid To Go There, he's reignited his beef with Brady for ... reasons?
Ryan Fitzpatrick is doing his very best to get Tom Brady's attention
At the risk of alienating a few/every single Bucs fan, this comes across super dopey. I get that Fitzpatrick is doing his best to build a post-career brand of EPIC TWITTER TAKEDOWNS where he's NOT AFRAID of ANYONE, but I dunno, man. I don't even care that Fitzpatrick's head-to-head record against Brady is abysmal – everyone's head-to-head record against Brady is abysmal except for Eli Manning's. You shouldn't have to have beaten Brady in two Super Bowls in order to trash talk him, but you should have to be funny about it.
Also, Ryan, what's the plan here? Are you just trying to get a bunch of random, nameless Bucs Twitter accounts to tell you you're funny? Are you trying to get in a weird QT Beef with Brady? Are you so bored that the only option you have left is making tired jokes about Brady's conflict of interest between being a team owner and an announcer? Honestly, Brady's too easy of a mark for any of this to come across clever or unique. Do you think you're really going to win a battle of Favorite Quarterbacks against the guy that won a Super Bowl with the Bucs?
There are so many good (and obvious) ways to dunk on Brady, it's actually kind of impressive that Fitzpatrick managed to miss them all. I guess it shouldn't be surprising how on-brand it is that the idea of Ryan Fitzpatrick's Twitter is way better than the reality.
