In honor of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 50th season, the organization is partnering with Amazon Prime Video for a docuseries chronicling the franchise’s history set to release on December 11.

"Raise The Flags is a celebration of the people, the perseverance, and the passion that built this franchise over the past 50 seasons," said co-owner Ed Glazer in a release. "We wanted to create an honest and comprehensive look at our journey – from the earliest challenges to the unforgettable championship moments – and to honor everyone who has shaped the Buccaneers franchise into what it is today. This series celebrates that rich history in a way that has never been done before."

The trailer was chock-full of Buccaneers legends. Some of the familiar faces included Mike Evans, Ronde Barer, Warren Sapp, Bruce Arians, and Tony Dungy.

Longtime Bucs staff writer Scott Smith has had a first-look at the docuseries and provided a sneak peek that fans will be excited about.

“Fans will be treated to inside stories usually only told from player to player, coach to coach or owner to owner,” wrote Smith. “Why did Hardy Nickerson and Keyshawn Johnson nearly come to blows on a plane flight in January of 2002? How exactly did team ownership pull off the Jon Gruden trade under a total veil of secrecy?”

The film was directed by eight-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Trent Cooper who is heralded for his work on sports documentaries. His award-winning storytelling prowess, paired with the fact that he is a lifelong Buccaneers fan will make this a must-watch for other Bucs fans.

"I grew up in the Tampa Bay area and have loved the Bucs my entire life, but storytelling is my job, and this story has it all: grit, heartbreak, community, unforgettable characters and more," said Cooper. "The best part of this project for me has been going deep into the rise of this franchise and uncovering stories even lifelong fans never knew."
