There is some potentially excellent news on the Buccaneers’ final injury report.

More from The Pewter Plank

So how many Buccaneers‘ fans are pumped up for Sunday? You should be, as the Bucs have a chance to eclipse the .500 mark with a win over the Raiders. It was getting rough there for a while, and you all were worried with all of the injuries. But it seems like Dirk has gotten the boys back on track.

Don’t get me wrong, Oakland will not be an easy team to beat this weekend, but they have a chance to get it done. Who would have thought that a few weeks ago?

Now, we have some good news to report, as it is time for the final injury report of the week. Take a look at the final chart for your Bucs:

Yes, Doug is still out and his return is unclear. But, I do believe that Robert Ayers returned to practice in full! Now that is something to be excited about. The only other player on defense that is out is McDonald, so if McCoy is well enough to go along with Ayers, that puts Mike Smith’s defense in a pretty healthy state.

Things are starting to look up.

Good thing the Bucs are pretty healthy, because it looks like the Raiders are just as healthy.
