4. Brad Johnson
Another member of the 2002 team is our number four choice. After five years in Minnesota and two in Washington, Brad Johnson signed with the Bucs prior to the 2001 season. He had modest success in 2001, leading the team to a 9-7 record, and throwing 13 touchdowns vs. 11 interceptions. Johnson had a solid year in the Super Bowl season of 2002, leading the team to a regular season record of 10-3, throwing 22 touchdowns vs. only six interceptions.

He didn’t have a brilliant Super Bowl, only going 18-34 with two touchdowns and an interception, but the following year, he threw 26 touchdown passes. Unfortunately, Johnson also threw 21 interceptions, and the team only finished 9-7.
His limited success with the team (record only 26-23) is what limits him to number four on our list. But the Super Bowl season was terrific, wasn’t it?
