1. Lavonte David

Was there ever any doubt, Bucs’ fans?

Lavonte David was chosen in the 2012 draft, and he has been nothing short of spectacular.  He posted 139 tackles in his rookie season, and he has never fallen off the pace.  He was a first team All-Pro in 2013, posting 145 tackles and seven sacks, both career highs.  David has been well over 100 tackles every year, and earned his first Pro Bowl invitation this past season.

He has been durable, missing only two games so far in his career.  He is a star, he has been a star, and will continue to be a star.  Lavonte was an easy choice for number one.
