Committing to quarterback Kirk Cousins and moving on from running back Alfred Morris means the Redskins have officially ushered in a new era of offense.

They need to anchor their new offense with a smart and physical leader on the front line.

Ryan Kelly is the center from Alabama who directed blocks for the Crimson Tide on their way to a national championship, and can do the same for Washington.

Peyton Manning gives a lot of credit for his early success to the likes of Jeff Saturday, and without a center he can rely on, Cousins won’t see the same success.
