Time to go inside the film room and look at one of the Buccaneers’ newest additions, J.R. Sweezy.  Will he make fans forget Logan Mankins?

Time to get back to football, Buccaneers’ fans.  Well, in a sense anyway.  The film guru is at it again, looking at some Bucs’ football.  Recently, the guru broke down the rise of Kwon Alexander, which took place very fast, within weeks, actually.  He is back in the film room, looking at one of our newest players to wear the pewter.

More from Bucs News

This afternoon, he is taking a look at free agent acquisition, J.R. Sweezy.  He was the 66th ranked guard in the NFL in 2015, according to Pro Football Focus.  There is a good reason for that.  He is as inconsistent as they come.  He generally is a decent run blocker, and does have some athleticism, but, in the pass blocking area, it’s another story.  Hopefully Jameis Winston has his life insurance paid up.

We take a look at four plays to illustrate his level of inconsistency.

The first two come from week one, when the Seahawks took on the St. Louis Rams.
