Vincent Jackson Will Return to Form

Mike Evans‘ sophomore season resulted in 1,200 yards receiving, but a dip in his touchdown production from 12 to 3.  A major factor that played in was the fact that the Bucs had no other option on the outside.  After Evans’ 1,200 yards, the next highest total for a receiver was 543 yards, posted by Vincent Jackson.  The trouble was, Jackson was only healthy for ten games in 2015.

In his previous three years with Tampa, Jackson averaged 75 receptions and 1,203 receiving yards.  It’s no coincidence that one of those years, Evans was a rookie, and posted 12 touchdowns.  Having two healthy weapons on the outside will make all the difference in the world.  The numbers don’t lie, and “V-Jax” will return to form, allowing Evans to excel on the outside, and the passing offense to be even more dynamic than it was in 2015.
