The Rest

The rest of the current group at tight end includes:

  • Brandon Myers
  • Alan Cross
  • Kivon Cartwright

Myers is the veteran of the group, going into his eighth year in the league.  For his career, he has posted 192 receptions or 1,895 yards and eight touchdowns.  If anyone is going to surprise, I believe it to be Alan Cross.  Working with Paxton Lynch at Memphis, he was a lethal weapon in the red zone.  Fourteen touchdowns for his career is a solid number.  Cross could be a guy that ends up surprising the coaching staff this summer.

The tight end group has a great deal of players, and a good mix of veterans with young players.  It does get weaker, however, if “ASJ” can’t fulfill his presumed starting duties on a regular basis.
