As we inch closer and closer to the 2016 season, it’s always fun for fans to think about what could be. Here are some over/under numbers for the Buccaneers this season.

After a record setting offense in 2015 and a defense that left far too much to be desired, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers enter 2016 with new hope. Head coach Dirk Koetter will continue to develop Jameis Winston in the second year of his career, he will feature Doug Martin as much – if not more – than last season, and he hopes to get Mike Evans back to rookie form.

As for the defensive side of the ball, secondary and pass rush have been a major focus for the team to improve. There was little to no pass rush and cornerbacks couldn’t stop a nosebleed with five miles of gauze and a cotton ball the size of Mt. Rushmore. Bringing in Robert Ayers, Brent Grimes, Noah Spence, Vernon Hargreaves, and Daryl Smith was a good start, but this team is far from a finished product.

So exactly how good can this team be? Some believe they can make the playoffs. Some believe the schedule may result in an improved team with yet another losing record. Here are some fun numbers to think about for the upcoming season.
