The Five Most Important Buccaneers For 2016

The Cornerbacks
It was one of the worst in the NFL and, in the NFC South, it can’t be. The Buccaneers brought in Brent Grimes, drafted Vernon Hargreaves III, and are giving Alterraun Verner and Johnthan Banks one more chance to prove they’re worth keeping.

When you get three interceptions as a unit all season long, something is wrong. When you couldn’t stop a slant all season long, something is wrong. When you allow Kirk Cousins to carve you like a turkey and fall victim to the largest comeback victory in Redskins’ history, something is wrong.
It has to be fixed.
This unit will face Julio Jones, Kelvin Benjamin, and the six chambered Saints arsenal for six of its games. On top of that, you get Amari Cooper, the three-headed monster in Arizona, Dez Bryant, Alshon Jeffery, and Demaryius Thomas this season. Anyone think this is going to be a cake walk?
If the corners can’t play exponentially better than last season, this team will be lucky to win four games. Grimes is going to lead this group, Hargreaves will take his lumps but has big playmaking ability, and it’s on Verner and Banks to show they aren’t the horrendous players we saw last season.
