The Buccaneers have to face a Seahawks team that is tough, but one that will be missing key players due to injury.

More from The Pewter Plank

The Buccaneers may be facing the 7-2-1 Seahawks at just the right time, ladies and gentlemen. Yes, we all know how tough they can be, and that the Bucs have had to work hard to get back to a 5-5 record.

Russell Wilson has also been unstoppable every week. He has been a bit limited with his running due to his health, but that has started to come around. He also proves week in and week out that he can make very throw in the book.

The reason it may be the right time, however, comes down to the injury report. The Seahawks are banged up, the Bucs are not.

Let’s see what I mean. First the report for the Bucs:

It looks like the boys from Tampa are ready to go. Other than Evan Smith, nobody is listed as out. Alterraun Verner didn’t practice today, so we will see if he suits up, but it is looking for everybody else.

For the Seahawks, it isn’t what we hoped, but there are key guys that will miss the game.

So no, they aren’t missing Graham or Sherman. But hey, it means we get to see him line up against Mike Evans which should be exciting. But seriously, there are key players on that list that have been declared out. Missing Bennett, Prosise and Thomas will make a difference.
