New England Patriots Defensive End – Jabaal Sheard

When Sheard takes the field Super Bowl Sunday he’ll be doing it looking to get a championship for his team and perhaps a starting opportunity for himself.

Of course, his opportunity could come with the very same team he’s on as Chris Long is certainly no lock to return next season, and even if he does he could feasibly be replaced by the younger pass rusher.

For the Bucs, this signing could be made possible if the team fails to – or chooses not to – retain William Gholston.

While Noah Spence provided a spark to the pass rush in his rookie season, it’s not outside the realm of possibilities the team could look to add another guy to come off the edge especially considering Spence’s late season injury problems.

This one is certainly on the lower spectrum of potential, but it’s still worth seeing what he brings to the table playing against one of Tampa’s divisional rivals, and the team they’ll be looking to unseat next season.

These are the five guys I’m watching and hope the Bucs are watching as well when the Super Bowl kicks off this Sunday.

Who do you like in this game, and who would you want to see sporting the Bucs logos next season?
