Buccaneers: Noah Spence and his budding greatness part II
Buccaneers defensive end Noah Spence has the chance to be great. He has already shown a lot in just one year.
The Buccaneers couldn’t have been more excited when Noah Spence was available in the second round. In fact, Jason Licht had a first round grade on Spence, so to him, selecting Spence in the second round was a steal. Licht had been looking for an outside pass rusher to take the heat off of Gerald McCoy. He found Robert Ayers via free agency and now had his man, Noah Spence, in the draft.
Spence flashed in his rookie season to the tune of 5.5 sacks. Many believe he is primed to take the next step here. Ayers believes that Spence is ready to be a 15 sack guy in just his second year. CBS Sports NFL expert Pete Prisco wrote that Spence is primed to be the next elite pass rusher.
