Breaking down the Buccaneers camp battle for the third wide receiver position.
We are just over three weeks away from Buccaneers football. It seems hard to believe. Doesn’t it feel like yesterday that we were watching the Falcons blow a huge Super Bowl lead? Well believe it or not we are in July, so it is the homestretch before the action resumes at One Buc Place. July 28th, mark it down, the preparation for the season begins.
So, while we try to get through these final three weeks without football, we break down some of the biggest battles we are going to see during camp. You know, they can’t all be Jameis Winston or Mike Evans. Some of these jobs actually have to be fought for. There are several positions up for grabs, and those are the ones we are looking at.

Recently here at the site, Jerry Stalheim wrote a piece on the different camp battles that we should watch this summer. Using that piece as a guide, we are going to break down the battles in more detail.
The first one we broke down in detail was one that won’t be that glamorous, but still is important. We looked at the battle for the placekicker job. No, this will not be the most interesting plot for Hard Knocks. However, it will be an important decision for the future of the Bucs.
Today we look at a more interesting battle. As Jerry pointed out, behind Evans and DeSean Jackson, there is an interesting battle brewing for the third wide receiver position. Let’s take a look at that one for a few minutes.
