Offense

This is where the Buccaneers will win a lot of both real and digital games. Their offense is stacked beyond belief from a video game perspective, both in the pass game and run game. Doug Martin was suspended by Roger Goodell, not John Madden, so the talented back is ready and available to be your workhorse back. Martin is rated an 83, and has a couple of quality blockers to run behind in Ali Marpet at 85 overall, Demar Dotson at 80 overall, and J.R. Sweezy at 77 overall.

Though the run game could be made into a dangerous attack, it’s the passing game where most gamers are going to thrive with the Bucs. Quarterback Jameis Winston is criminally underrated with an 81 overall score, but thanks to his athleticism and arm strength he’s an ideal passer for Madden. Winston’s group of pass catchers is among the very best in the entire game, headlined by its dynamic duo of Mike Evans at 90 overall (tied for the highest on the team), and DeSean Jackson 87. Since the day Jackson entered the league he’s been a terror on Madden thanks to his absurd speed (rated at 94 this season) and elusiveness (rated 95 this season), and this year will be no different. Opposing gamers will face the same problem that defensive coordinators will in real life: who do you double team?

Rookie tight end O.J. Howard was granted an 82 by the rating czars, the second highest rating of any rookie in the league. With his 6’5 height, 87 rated speed, and 90 rated acceleration, Howard has the makings of a Madden star that will terrorize the middle of the field. Rated one point higher than Howard is fellow tight end Cameron Brate, who was given an 83 overall.

Other noteworthy ratings on the offense are receivers Chris Godwin at 75 overall and 91 speed, and Adam Humphries at 76, along with left tackle Donovan Smith at an alarmingly low 72.
