Buccaneers waive Jude Adjei-Barimah; sign Andrew DePaola
The Buccaneers have announced they have signed Andrew DePaola and the y have waived Jude Adeji-Barimah.
The Buccaneers made a move earlier today so we felt the need to bring it to the attention all of you. Jason Licht and the team have announced that they have waived the currently injured Jude Adeji-Barimah. In his place they have signed Andrew DePaola.
Saying goodbye to Jude is not really a major move for 2017 as he was hurt. He fractured his right patellar tendon in his right knee and he was set to miss the season. In two years with the Bucs, he started eight games, recording 62 tackles, three passes defended, two sacks and a forced fumble.

In his place the Bucs have brought in Andrew DePaola. The better term is probably brought back Andrew DePaola as he has spent the last three years with the team. There isn’t very much to say here as DePaola will return to his role as the long snapper.
DePaola was the long snapper for each game over the last three seasons in Tampa. His job is to bend over and throw the ball between his legs to Bryan Anger from several yards away. He clearly does that very well and he is back to do it some more.
Jude projected as a depth chart piece behind the likes of Brent Grimes and Vernon Hargreaves. It’s no real surprise that he was let go due to his injury. Any team can make a claim or he becomes an outright free agent.
