The Buccaneers and Cardinals have announced their inactives for today’s match-up. Let’s take a look.

The Buccaneers certainly benefitted from this “mini-bye” as they will welcome back some key defenders. Tampa Bay also brought in a new kicker because the old one, he who shall not be named cost them the game against New England. The Bucs will be looking to avenge last season’s loss in which they were flat out embarrassed by Arizona.

Both teams have released their inactives let’s take a look.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-2)

More from The Pewter Plank

S Keith Tandy

LB Kwon Alexander

C Joe Hawley

CB Josh Robinson

DE Ryan Russell

T Leonard Wester

TE Antony Auclair

As you can see, Lavonte David and T.J. Ward‘s names are not on there. The Bucs will finally get some key players back. Kwon Alexander continues to be held out even though he practiced this week. Tandy also practiced but was unable to suit up. However, the way Justin Evans played last week, Tandy may not have even gotten the start had he been active.

Arizona Cardinals (2-3)

QB Blaine Gabbert

WR Chad Williams

RB DJ Foster

OL Daniel Munyer

DL Olsen Pierre

TE Ricky Seals-Jones

DT Robert Nkemdiche

The Cardinals only appear to be missing Nkemdiche who is a very good dlineman. Cardinals are coming off a blowout loss and will be looking to contain this potentially explosive offense.

As a result of these inactives, it’s also expected the Bucs will continue to have Adarius Glanton playing at strong-side linebacker while Kendall Beckwith continues to fill in for Alexander.

Justin Evans is expected to get his second-straight start for Keith Tandy. Evans played an impressive game in Week 5 against Tom Brady and the Patriots, so it’ll be fun to watch what he can do with a week’s experience under his belt.

It will be interesting to see how the Buccaneers defense fares this week against new Cardinal Adrian Peterson. Jameis must have a strong performance to help out his defense, and they’ll have to do it without these guys listed here.
